Lake Arbutus
 |
Lake Arbutus cradles both Clark and Jackson counties in West Central Wisconsin. The 840 acre lake was formed in the early 1900's for the purpose of generating hydro-electric power.
The 9 miles of shoreline provide a variety of recreational opportunities including boating, fishing, swimming, water skiing, and canoeing.
Lake Arbutus area has 3 campgrounds, 6 public boat landings, and two public beaches.
Anglers can enjoy both lake and river fishing in Hatfield. The lake and the Black River produce walleye, northern pike, channel catfish, muskie, crappie, large and small mouth bass. Several trout streams in the area also provide excellent action for feisty brook and brown trout. |
